In my humble opinion, the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever! I really enjoyed Corpse Bride and I felt the urge to do a reworking of the opening credits sequence. In the original, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Danny_Elfman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Danny Elfman<\/a> makes a strong musical reference to the ticking clocks that appear halfway through the sequence. In my version, I decided to focus on the butterfly in the jar and accentuate the fluttering, graceful, liberating feeling through the piano and strings.<\/p>\n<p>All the instruments were performed by myself using Eastwest Complete Composer Collection. One day I&#8217;d like to redo this using some real strings players&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A massive thank you goes out to Mark Kershaw who did the sound design for this (barring a few subtle\u00a0voices by me).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a massive fan of Danny Elfman.
